Age-specific support for every stage
Infants
Exceptional infant care means your baby is cherished, cuddled, nourished, diapered, rested, and beaming with joy when you return for pickup. I continually update my expertise through ongoing training in infant safety—covering feeding, safe sleep practices—and hold CPR and First Aid certifications specific to infants. Our floors are cleaned daily to ensure a clean and safe place when it's time to start crawling and exploring!
Toddlers
Whether your toddler delights in creating art, building with blocks, or flipping through books—regardless of their developmental stage—I’ll nurture their interests through playful learning every step of the way. We'll help your child communicate by teaching sign language as well!
Preschoolers
I offer preschoolers basic art, stories, and play to help them learn and grow. We do group games, music, and outdoor time. I encourage kindness, sharing, and getting ready for school in a relaxed, straightforward way, with plenty of encouragement and fun.
A day in the life of a sapling
Morning
After drop-off, we kick off with a tasty healthy breakfast and fun free play. Then it’s outside for fresh air and sunshine! Back inside, circle time brings friends together for a lively group activity—perfect for shaking out wiggles before yummy lunch.
Nap
Before naptime, we unwind with relaxed coloring, or cozy stories to settle little minds and bodies. Kids snooze on soft cots with fresh blankets which I supply—but you can bring their special one from home for extra comfort and smiles!
Afternoon
After naptime, we'll venture outside once more for fresh air and fun. Then, we'll come inside for a tasty snack, followed by singing some cheerful songs together. Next, we'll dive into story time and engaging group activities, before wrapping up with free play until pickup time.

Circle Time
Age-appropriate circle time may involve story time, games, activities and songs. Typically this is short in length as we are a mixed-age group center, but we practice a multitude of skills and enjoy chatting about our day and practicing vocabulary during this group activity.

These quotes are the underlying guide to our approach to learning - everything we do may look simple in childcare, but it is the work of helping a child learn to navigate expressing themselves in a group, seeing others' needs, and how to be a part of a community.
Play Stations
In a variety of circumstances, we utilize "stations" with the 2yr + age group. This helps us learn boundaries and how to have parallel play that also allows for conversation amongst peers. It leaves room for partner play, as well. Ask to learn more when you tour!
Language
Primarily English exposure, ASL is used to help Littles express needs and wants. Parents are encouraged to learn the signs used in order to reinforce this learning and to communicate with their children! Spanish is also used with the children, though in certain contexts and not full immersion, IE at meal times or stories, learning names of body parts or playspace items, etc.
Superfoods
We partner with the CACFP. Additionally, we offer fruits/vegetables on a daily basis and Whole Foods for high exposure to assist in development of your child's palette. We only allow sugary treats on special occasions! (Birthdays, Holidays, etc.)
Outdoor Play
We love being outdoors. Less restricted space with fresh air, and we can get all our wiggles out. This change of scenery with sunlight is refreshing for all, and we go out as often as schedules & needs allow, sometimes outside of the "typical" times to play outdoors. Very weather-dependent.
